Our automotive bootcamp is designed to fully prepare students to enter the automotive trade as an Automotive Technician. Upon completion, students will earn their Automotive Technical Skills Credential.

Automotive 201.1
General Service Technician
Course: 201.1 General Service Technician (100 hrs):
Course Description: This foundational course introduces students to the core skills and knowledge required for entry-level work in the automotive service industry. Through hands-on training and classroom instruction, students will learn to safely use automotive tools and equipment, perform vehicle safety inspections, conduct tire services, and carry out routine maintenance procedures.
Upon successful completion of this class, students will be able to:
- Students will be able to identify and utilize automotive tools and equipment.
- Students will be able to employ proper personal safety and protection.
- Students will be able to conduct vehicle safety inspections and ensure proper documentation.
- Students will be able to conduct tire inspection, maintenance, repair, and replacement.
- Students will be able to perform routine automotive maintenance.
Upon completion, students will earn their Automotive Technical Skills Credential.
Upon completion, students will be prepared to pass the ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) Maintenance and Light Repair Certification test. ASE G1 Maintenance and Light Repair Certification.
(*Please Note: 2 years’ work experience is required to sit for any A1-A8 exam which is verified as part of the exam/certification process.)
Automotive 201.2
Steering and Suspension
Course: 201.2 Steering and Suspension (100 hrs)
Course Description: This course provides students with in-depth knowledge of vehicle chassis systems, focusing on the diagnosis, repair, and alignment of steering and suspension components. Through hands-on training, students will also explore advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and their integration with modern suspension technologies.
Upon successful completion of this class, students will be able to:
- Students will develop a thorough understanding of chassis components and functionality in order to troubleshoot and repair.
- Students will be able to conduct proper vehicle alignment.
- Students will develop a thorough understanding of advanced driver assistance systems.
- Upon completion, students will earn their Automotive Steering & Suspension Systems Credential.
- Upon completion, students will be prepared to pass the ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) Automotive Suspension and Steering Certification test. ASE A4 Suspension & Steering Automotive Service Excellence (ASE)
Automotive 201.3
Brakes
Course: 201.3 Brakes (100 hrs)
Course Description: This course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of automotive brake systems, including their components, operation, and maintenance. Through hands-on training and diagnostics, students will learn to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair various brake systems with precision and safety.
Upon successful completion of this class, students will be able to:
- Students will develop a thorough understanding of brake systems, components, and functionality.
- Students will be able to conduct proper brake diagnostics.
- Students will be able to troubleshoot brake systems and conduct necessary repairs.
- Upon completion, students will earn their Automotive Brakes Credential.
- Upon completion, students will be prepared to pass the ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) Automotive Brakes Certification test. *ASE A5 Brakes Automotive Service Excellence (ASE)

- Automotive Steering & Suspension Systems Credential
